About the role
We have an unique full-time Sous Chef position available. We are looking for someone who will ensure our guests are provided with the best culinary experience. With a focus on the food quality and food safety procedures, this role is the perfect fit for a chef who is well-seasoned in the arts of culinary.
What we are looking for
- 1-2 years of working experience in a similar role
- Certificate/qualification of accredited cookery course and food hygiene course
- Availability to attend rotating rostered shifts and also during the weekend
- Enthusiasm, positivity and passion to provide exceptional culinary experience
- Resort and hotel experience highly advantageous
- Proven experience within a large kitchen operation
- Strong supervisory skills
- Great communication skills and teamwork
- Health and safety conscious mindset
- You must be eligible to work in New Zealand
