Hilton Conference and Events Internship in Barcelona, Spain

As a Conference and Events intern you will assist in daily operations and work with customers and Guests as part of your assigned college project to demonstrate your abilities and gain knowledge in the hospitality industry.

What will I be doing?

In our Conference and Event department you will support the team in their main tasks:

- Assist C&E coordinators in preparing personalized offers for the clients

-Respond to all Customers, whether internal or external in a manner which is both professional, courteous and in line with Hilton Brand standards and procedures relating to the department to ensure total guest satisfaction.

- Follow company brand standards

- To help the team with hotel promotional activities

- Assist other departments, as necessary

- To assist the team organizing the events calendar

-To help inserting data booing in our systems and keep them updated

A Conference and Events intern is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviors, skills and values that follow:

  • It is necessary to be studying a degree or course related to this internship opportunity
  • Positive attitude and good communication skills
  • Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service
  • Excellent grooming standards
  • Ability to work on your own and as part of a team
  • English and Spanish fluently, other languages is a plus

To do an internship in our hotel is necessary to be able to formalize an internship agreement with an university or school.
