Hilton AC Technician in Doha, Qatar
An AC Technician will support the Engineering Team to efficiently maintain all hotel operations such that safety, security, conversation, and compliance are ensured at the highest levels.
What will I be doing?
- To fully understand the principles of Refrigeration & Air Conditioning and apply them in practice.
- To regularly inspect air conditioning compressor units and effect maintenance and repairs as necessary.
- To maintain charging equipment, refrigeration test equipment and A/C tools in good condition.
- To ensure cleanliness of work areas and protection of the surrounding area when executing jobs.
- To understand control principles of all A/C systems and regularly test, repair and calibrate.
- To verify building area temperatures and adjust as necessary and record on the plant log sheet.
- To complete major and minor services on A/C, Refrigeration equipment as assigned and return the completed job sheets to the Engineering Office.
- To learn and carry out fire brigade duties when assigned.
- To complete the personal daily job record, time book accurately and keep ready for inspection.
- To fully comprehend the building automation system operation, alarm and functionality.
- To trouble shoot & repair A/C systems when necessary.
- To participate in new equipment installation projects.
- To cross train in the fields of plumbing and plant mechanics.
- To response immediately to guest complaints to ensure guest satisfaction.
· To carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned and should be multi-tasking.
· To respond to changes in the (enter function) function as dictated by the industry, company or the Hotel.

- A certificate in a specialized field such as Electrical, Mechanical, Refrigeration, Carpentry, or Plumbing, required
- Current working knowledge of general maintenance and engineering work
- Experience in the Maintenance Department of a large hotel, hospital, ship, and/or restaurant complex or similar
- Strong work ethic
- A passion for delivering great customer service
- Ability to work without close supervision and within established timeframes
