A Hotel Nurse/HR Admin is mainly responsible management on proper policies and procedures to deliver an excellent staff experience while assisting with employee relations.

What will I be doing?

A Hotel Nurse/HR Admin is responsible for supporting on ensuring excellent our Team Members' experience while assisting with employee relations. This role uniquely combines the responsibilities of a healthcare provider and a human resources professional, ensuring the well-being and productivity of all hotel staff.

Healthcare Responsibilities:

  • Administer first aid and medical assistance.
  • Refill first aid supplies and manage medical equipment.
  • Create and maintain sick leave reports.
  • Assist with medical and life insurance claims and management.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Manage new joiners' medical documentation and requirements.

Human Resources Responsibilities:

  • Handle employee relations issues in the hotel confidentially, including disciplinaries, grievances, and capability issues.
  • Ensure absence monitoring is in line with company guidelines.
  • Maintain online personnel systems, payroll systems, and monthly reporting.
  • Assist in determining departmental training requirements.
  • Organize and support team gatherings, presentations, posters, announcements, certificates, and vouchers.
  • Assist in the organization of team member social events and promote team member engagement.
  • Work with local organizations and schools to promote the hospitality industry.
  • Promote and endorse Team Member benefits.
  • Assist and resolve team member and management queries.
  • Manage and process vacation forms, tickets, and plans.
  • Handle exit interview analysis and reporting.

  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified in First Aid, CPR, or equivalent.
  • CIPD qualified or working towards qualification, or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of hospitality.
  • Good knowledge of employment law and employee relations.
  • IT proficiency.
