60% on property at a Hotel in the Location

40% remote including travel throughout Germany

As a Country IT Manager Germany,you will bring your technical skills to a hospitality company with an award-winning culture. You will lead the Germany Technology Field Services team reporting to the Director Field Services Continental Europe, you willsupport projects including Hotel Refurbishments, Hotel Technology Refreshes, Team Trainings & Succession Planning, Proper Cyber Security Management. and the migration of our properties to the new PMS Platform.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.

What your day-to-day will be like:

·Provides direction and directives to the hotel technology team members in the performance of their duties, establishing work priorities and in achieving management & corporate objectives

·Lead the Cyber Security Control and Management for all properties, so that hotels fulfill the corporate KPI’s.

·Manage User Support (including Team Member Rotation)

·Escalation Management with Corporate Support and 3rdParty Vendors

·Constantly evaluates support structures to be in line with the business requirements

·Communication with the team and co-ordination of trainings and personal development

·Explore opportunities to optimize on property technology costs.

·Constantly evaluates support structures to be in line with the business requirements

·Establishes hotel technology department operational procedures and processes

·Manages departmental budget, controls activities and spend throughout the year to ensure optimal financial results.

·Provide support to Hotel new opening & renovation projects in the country

How you will collaborate with others:

· Regular Update Calls with the Area GM’s including weekly report and attendance of monthly Germany GM Calls

· Attendance of Hotel & Project Meetings when required

· Weekly Calls with the Field Services team and 1:1 with each team member on a regular basis

·Monthly Reporting to and update calls with Director Field Services Continental Europe

·Attendance of Corporate Calls and Meetings – upon invitation

What projects you will take immediate ownership of:

·Management of the technology Support Structure for Germany

·Approved and planned Technology Projects for 2024

·Full Review of Hotel Support Matrixes and processes

·Ability to take initiative to identify, prioritize and implement all elements required for team to fulfill responsibilities

You have these minimum qualifications:

·7 years of work experience in Hotel Technology Field Services

·You are a flexible, motivated, open to change and can lead a team

·Travel up to 40% as regular Site Visits to all properties must be performed

·German and English language skills
