Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas is seeking a Restaurant Pastry Chef! In this role, you will oversee the pastry program at Twist, the Forbes 5-Star restaurant of acclaimed Chef Pierre Gagnaire.

Twist is the only venue in the US where you can experience the extraordinary cuisine of Chef Pierre Gagniere - owner of several highly-acclaimed restaurants around the world including his 3-Michelin Star restaurant in Paris . This stunning dining room is located on the 23rd floor serving classic French Cuisine with a contemporary edge

The ideal candidate will be a creative and experienced restaurant pastry chef with a fine dining background and proven stability in prior employment. French cuisine and union experience are a plus.

What will I be doing?

As a Pastry Chef, you will oversee the pastry production and menu creation in the restaurant.

  • Create / prepare / produce / bake pastries and desserts according to standard recipes for the restaurant.

  • Decorate pastries / cakes with creativity and skill.

  • Maintain adequate supply of all prepared products on hand and ensure the proper storage.

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards.

  • Train, supervise, schedule and assist in evaluating staff.
