Salary: up to £41,600 per year plus service charge

What will I be doing?

  • Ensure a Safe, Secure and Stimulating environment is provided for team members and customers in Conference & Events areas.
  • Ensure that all team members are fully equipped with the tools, skills, behaviours and knowledge required before customer contact.
  • Assist Director in ensuring ordering and receiving processes take place as per guidelines.
  • Work with Groups Conference & Events / Kitchen / Stewarding and Food & Beverage Leadership to ensure that customer expectations are exceeded and revenue optimized‐ support the detailed plan for on the day customer experience with Groups Conference & Events Team and Client.
  • In Absence of The Director directly deliver the “meet and greet” and “exit interview” elements of the organizer on the day experience
  • Ensure that both you and all customer facing team members are optimizing the revenue opportunities in each customer interaction whilst meeting all productivity guidelines.
  • Ensure that all prescribed and designed process, systems and standards are maintained.
  • Build relationships and rapport both pre and post event with clients and attendees.
  • Assist the Director in leading the operations team from the front at all “important” events.
  • Monitor the proper usage of meeting & event space (including back area’s) by outside parties; incl. e.g. caterer, outside AV company.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Significant experience within Conference and Event Operations
  • Certificated learning in delivering training, coaching and performance management techniques.

ELIGIBILITY

  • In line with the Asylum and Immigration Act 1996, all applicants must have the eligibility to live and work in the United Kingdom.
  • Documentation is required at interview stage (for EU Nationals share code requested to check EU Settled/Pre-Settled status)
