Marketing Executive - The Waldorf Hilton London

Job Purpose:

With the hotel’s strong brand presence and reputation in the global market, this position will play a crucial role in developing and implementingthe hotel’s social media and digital strategy, whilst executing our marketing strategy to drive commercial success.

Key Responsibilities of the Role

·Support the Food and Beverage department by developing and implementing promotional activity, collateral and in-house merchandising as well as maintaining the hotels’ media library to include video, film and press coverage archives

·Promote the hotel and food and beverage venues across digital channels and in print, utilising paid advertising opportunities such as boosted posts and social media adverts run through the Meta Business Suite

·Create social media strategies for each area of the business inclusive of competitor analysis and complete quarterly social media audits

·Independently manage and implement key marketing initiatives and promotions whilst ensuring all activity is aligned with regional and global marketing activities.

·Lead effective content management across all available channels, including hotel website, OTAs, mobile marketing and partnership programs, whilst tracking all analytics

·Organise influencer collaborations, maintain influencer lists, media packs and influencer giveaway merchandise and act as the liaison between the press office and the marketing team

·Assist with and, where required, lead on-site photos shoots and hotel filming whilst ensuring all relevant administration approvals are completed and confirmed

·Be a brand champion for the hotels ensuring all collateral conforms to agreed brand standards, using the right tone and voice compliant with corporate guidelines

·Support the team across all areas when needed and stay up to date with new marketing and social media trends

·Enter awards for the hotel, the food and beverage venues and team members

·Regularly attend regional marketing calls in order to maintain consistency with brand guidelines and assets.

·Conduct continuous analysis of competitive environment and consumer trends, and use findings to continuously evaluate and drive commercial success

·Participate in all internal and external digital/marketing meetings and attend relevant industry events, training workshops and trade-shows

·Preferred Qualifications/skills

·A Bachelors degree in marketing (or similar subject) or experience equivalent, alongside having experience of implementing digital campaigns, social media management and using Meta Business Suite.

·Have excellent command of English-grammar, spelling and spoken.

·Have an administration background with good skills in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Canva. Experience in using Photoshop, Illustrator and other Adobe creative programmes is also desirable.

·Have a passion and appreciation for food and beverage and hospitality.

·Be creative and innovative in your work, as well as pushing yourself to find original ideas that stand out.

·Have good organisational skills.

·Be able to work on own initiative and able to make decisions when necessary.

·Be able to adapt to changing circumstances and be a positive and enthusiastic team player and remain calm under pressure.
