Hilton Marketing and Communications Executive in Mahe, Seychelles
Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and proactive Marketing and Communication Executive to join our growing team. The successful candidate will play a key role in enhancing our company's visibility, reputation, and overall brand image. The Marketing and Communication Executive will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic PR campaigns, managing media relations, and coordinating various communication efforts for the various Hilton Seychelles properties.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute comprehensive PR strategies to promote and enhance the company's image.
2. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers.
3. Write and edit press releases, speeches, and other communication materials.
4. Coordinate and manage media interviews, press conferences, and other PR events.
5. Monitor and analyze media coverage, providing regular reports to senior management.
6. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels.
7. Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities.
8. Respond promptly to media inquiries and manage crisis communication effectively.
9. Plan and organize promotional events to increase brand awareness.
10. Assist in the development of internal communication strategies to ensure alignment with external messaging.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
2. Proven experience in PR, communications, or a related role.
3. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
4. Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
5. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
6. Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing trends.
7. Creative thinker with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
8. Proficient in Microsoft Office and PR-related software/tools.
