Hilton Senior Analyst, Hilton Honors Economics in McLean, Virginia

As a Senior Analyst Hilton Honors Economics, you will provide analysis and strategic recommendations to support Hilton’s reward redemption program and overall loyalty program performance. On the Hilton Honors Program Economics team reporting to Manager, Hilton Honors Economics, you will work on projects including reviewing Hilton Honors reward stay pricing, performance of reward redemptions, and reward reimbursements to hotels.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.

What your day-to-day will be like:

  • Evaluate the performance of Hilton Honors reward stay redemption program to provide meaningful insights, ongoing updates, and recommendations for Hilton’s loyalty program leadership.
  • Optimize the value of Hilton Honors Points to deepen engagement from our customers and strengthen business performance.
  • Analyze large data sets to extract key insights and summarize findings for non-technical audiences.
  • Build ad-hoc analyses and models to assess opportunities and risks for the Hilton Honors program including new benefits, partnerships, and reward products.
  • Support ad-hoc audit and loss prevention activities to ensure hotels are reimbursed correctly for reward stays.

How you will collaborate with others:

  • Present analyses and strategic recommendations to Hilton Honors leadership team
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on Hilton Honors redemptions and respond to relevant questions and feedback from internal corporate team members, including finance, analytics, revenue management, and regional teams
  • Work in a hybrid setting with a combination of in-person and virtual meetings

What projects you will take ownership of:

  • Conduct regular reviews of Hilton Honors reward stay pricing to ensure our hotels are priced appropriately in Points and provide compelling value to our members.
  • Create and update materials illustrating the value proposition of Hilton Honors to share with owners, hotel teams and internal corporate teams.

WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT

You have these minimum qualifications:

  • Three (3) years of professional experience in an analytical role.
  • Advanced Excel understanding, including formulas, pivot tables, and working with large spreadsheets
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and experience summarizing analytical findings for a non-technical audience
  • Previous experience working with financial data.
  • Work a hybrid schedule out of our Addison, TX or McLean, VA corporate office

It would be useful if you have:

  • BA/BS Bachelor’s Degree in the Analytical or Management fields
  • Experience in loyalty programs and/or the hospitality industry
  • Experience creating Excel-based scenario models and/or forecasts
