Hilton Front Office Chief Concierge - Waldorf Astoria Orlando in Orlando, Florida

Waldorf Astoria Orlando is looking for a Chief Concierge to join the Front Office Team!

Surrounded by Walt Disney Resort, this luxurious Forbes 4-Star property has 502 rooms, 30,000 square feet ofbanquet space, and 7 food and beverage outlets. This includes 3 restaurants, 2 bars, a pool, and in-room dining.

What will I be doing?

  • Greets customers, checks them in and out and responds to inquiries with accurate information regarding hours of outlet operation, hotel services, directions to local attractions, or meeting rooms, car rentals and airline shuttle service, etc. Makes arrangements for these services as needed by guests. Manages department budget, including approval of payroll. Trains, supervises, schedules and assists in evaluating staff.
  • Train and onboard new VIP Concierge and VIP Services Coordinator in Concierge role. Create appropriate training material and facilitate onboarding.
  • Liaison for external contacts – Assist in cultivating relationships with external partners
  • Answerstelephonecallsandinputsmessagesintothecomputer.Retrievesmessagesandcommunicatescontentstotheguest.Retrievesmail,smallpackages,andfacsimilesforcustomersasrequested.
  • Arrangesandconfirmsrecreation,businessanddiningactivitiesbothinsideandoutsidethehotel.Promptlyrespondstorequestsfordentists,doctors,childcare,florists,etc.
  • Respondstoguestcomplaints,conductsresearchtodevelopthemosteffectivesolutionsandnegotiatesresults.Listensandassistsinresolvingproblemssuchaspriceconflicts,insufficientheatingorairconditioning,etc.Remainscalmandalertespeciallyduringemergencysituationsandheavyhotelactivity.
  • Assist the VIP Services Manager in scheduling the front of house concierge team
  • DistributesprintedmaterialssuchasbrochuresoflocalattractionsorotherHiltons
