As Restaurant & Room Service Manager, you are responsible for managing the daily operation in our signature restaurant Bowery and the room service. You use your creativity and knowledge to set trends, create new menus and promote our restaurant to external guests and companies.

You ensure excellent guest experiences by evaluating guest satisfaction levels with a focus on continuous improvement and by training and motivating your team to exceed the expectations of our guests. Besides that, you are responsible for recruitment and evaluating the performance of your team and setting departmental targets and objectives. You take action to drive sales to maximize the revenue and control beverage and payroll costs. Your administrative tasks will include making schedules, holiday rosters, creating new menus and offers and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. Lastly, you are always willing assist other departments where necessary and are work together with other departments to achieve the tasks listed above.

Besides an enthusiastic personality you are / you have:

• Previous experience in a senior supervisory or management role in a Food & Beverage environment
• Excellent knowledge of food and beverages.
• A real team player with a positive attitude and capable of motivating and coaching a team
• Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
• Strong organizational and communicative skills in English, in Dutch would be beneficial
• Able to take ownership of tasks and identifies improvement areas
• Leadership skills to build the team of the Bowery Restaurant.
• Able to think out of the box and be creative
