This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a pre-opening team of a new hotel opening, and for an ambitious individual to to gain generalist HR experience.As a the Human Resources Officer, you are responsible for supporting and delivering a great team member onboarding and induction experience; and assisting the HR manager with line management advice to deliver an excellent team member experience

What will I be doing?

As a Human Resources Officer, you are responsible for supporting and delivering a great team member onboarding and induction experience; and assisting the HR manager with line management advice to deliver an excellent team member experience. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Facilitate and deliver New starter induction programme and co-ordination of required new starter training
  • Assist HRM to ensure HODs have robust onboarding plans for new starters and that these are tracked
  • Co-ordinate the uniform requirements for Team members, new and existing.
  • Support the HRM and Hods with recruitment and selection processes as required in accordance with company and statutory requirements.
  • Ensure all team members complete of all their statutory and brand training requirements; and that accurate records are maintained
  • Assist the HRM and Hods with team member culture and recognition activities
  • Support actions related to annual Team Member survey action plans as directed by HRM
  • Support delivery and administration of recruitment events
  • Administer and collaborate with marketing for local recruitment activity / collateral where needed
  • Participating in local attraction activities to ensure that Hilton is an employer of choice within the local market
  • Supporting initiatives to drive diverse talent pools and pipelines into the business.
  • Assist and resolve team member and management queries
